Privacy Policy — Reformmed Alerts

Reformmed Alerts ("the App") is a mobile application provided by Reformmed
for authorized staff of partner hospitals and healthcare facilities to
receive and review safety alerts generated by the Reformmed monitoring
platform. This policy explains what information the App collects and how
it is used.
The App is intended solely for use by authorized personnel of partner
facilities. It is not intended for use by the general public or patients.
Information we collect
- Account information: your username, name, and email
address, as provided by your hospital administrator when your account was
created.
- Login credentials: your password is never stored in
plain text; it is securely hashed on our servers. The App itself stores
only a temporary authentication token on your device, in encrypted
storage (Android Keystore), to keep you signed in.
- Alert data: the alerts, images, locations, and review
notes you view or submit through the App, as generated by your
hospital's monitoring systems.
- Device push notification token: a unique identifier
issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging, used solely to deliver alert
notifications to your device. This token is tied to your account and
removed when you log out.
How we use this information
- To authenticate you and restrict access to alerts relevant to your
assigned hospital, centers, and areas.
- To deliver real-time push notifications when new alerts require your
review.
- To record who reviewed, validated, or rejected an alert, for
accountability and audit purposes within your organization.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third
parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
- The App does not display ads and does not use third-party analytics
or advertising SDKs.
- We do not access your device's contacts, photos, location, or other
personal data beyond what is described above.
Data storage and security
All data is stored on servers operated by or on behalf of Reformmed and is
transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections. Access is restricted to
authenticated users, scoped to their assigned hospital and role.
Data retention
Account and alert data is retained for as long as your account remains
active with your hospital, in line with your hospital's data retention
requirements. Push notification tokens are removed upon logout or after
prolonged inactivity.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account
information by contacting your hospital administrator or by emailing us
directly at the address below.
Children's privacy
The App is intended for use by adult healthcare staff only and is not
directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from
children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be
reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
